Q: I RECEIVED A NEW TICKET, WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

A: If you received a new ticket you usually have a deadline to enter a plea or guilty or not guilty. The time limit in the TVB is usually 15 days.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T ANSWER THE TICKET ON TIME?

A: If you do not answer the ticket by the return date, your license will go into suspension. This means that you shouldn’t drive because your license is not valid. You then have approximately 30 days to get a new date in person in front of a judge or else you will be default convicted. You will also be required to pay a $70 suspension termination fee and a $40 bond per ticket.

Q: WHAT IS A SUSPENSION TERMINATION FEE AND WHAT IS A BOND?

A: A suspension termination fee is a $70 fee in order to reinstate your license after it was suspended. This fee is paid to the DMV and not refundable. A bond is a fee you pay to get a new court date and it insures that you will appear to court. If no appearance is made the bond is forfeited and you lose the money. If an appearance is made and the case is won then the $40 is refunded. If the case is lost then the $40 is applied to the payment of the fine. The only way to lose the bond is by failing to appear for the hearing.

Q: DO I HAVE TO FIX THESE THINGS ON MY OWN?

A: If you retain our services we will be able to help you with everything.

Q: DO I HAVE TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR THE HEARING?

A: NO, we will appear for you and you don’t have to come.

Q: I RECEIVED A NEW TICKET AND I WANT TO GIVE IT TO YOU, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

A: We will handle the ticket for you from the beginning to the end. We will try our best to win the ticket and if we need anything from you we will contact you. We will answer the ticket and schedule and reschedule court dates as necessary. We will have a trial and call you with results. You will not have to do anything but you will be responsible for any bonds, suspension termination fees and fines if any.

Q: WHAT KIND OF ATTORNEY WILL REPRESENT ME?

A: We will use the best attorney specifically chosen for the type of ticket you received and the location of the hearing. The attorney is strictly a traffic attorney who knows all the rules and laws inside and out.

Q: WILL A POLICE OFFICER GIVE ME CORRECT INFORMATION ABOUT MY TICKET?

A: The short answer is NO. Sometimes officers will give you wrong information usually by mistake. We will give you the correct information.

Q: IS A WIN GUARANTEED AND IF YOU DON’T WIN DO I GET A REFUND?

A: You pay the attorney for the time he spends on the case. These are real trials and previous results do not guarantee future outcomes. Even though we have an amazing win percentage that doesn’t mean that we will win your case. BUT, even if we cannot win we still provide other benefits!

1. We can finish the case with a win
2. We can finish the case where the points are expired and no longer count for license purposes.
3. We can save your license
4. We may be able to get reduced fines
5. We can help you so that insurance premiums are not raised.
6. There is no plea bargaining (NO DEAL MAKING TO LOWER POINTS) THE JUDGE CANNOT LOWER POINTS BUT we may be able to lower the points through amendments saving you points and assessment fees. These are real hearings and we use our expertise to win these cases.

Q: WHAT IS AN ASSESSMENT FEE?

A: If you are guilty of a ticket or your tickets total 6 or more points in an 18 month period you have to pay an additional assessment fee in addition to the fine. The assessment fee is $300 for 6 points and $75 per additional; point after six points. These are payable and broken down into 3 years. Ex. If you have a $300 assessment you can pay $100 per year for three years.
